This is the start of an exciting project! 🚀 Here’s a little something I’m happy to share with you 😊 I started a 3-month project with Winalist, as a freelance web editor! 📍 Why with Winalist? A dynamic start-up, with a team of wine enthusiasts eager to make wine-tourism accessible to all. A team I really wanted to learn from! ✍🏼 Why a web-editor & wine topics? After participating to the grape-picking harvest of a Moselle wine-estate, I got to be at the closest point there is to wine and wine-making. 🍇🍷 My already-existing interest in wine simply got confirmed. As for being an editor, both of my Master’s degree internships comforted me in my ambition to kick off a carrier in writing. 🖋️ ➡️ So, it seemed natural to try finding a way to collaborate with Winalist. 📢 Why as a freelance? It was the best way to start this collaboration, so I didn’t want a little challenge getting in the way. Having "my own business" is completely new to me, but I already see it was worth the extra effort. There we go! 🥳 Combining my passion for writing, wine topics, foreign languages and all I learned during my studies to develop Winalist’s blog strategies & content is pretty much the best opportunity I could hope. In other words, I’m just glad this all came together so I could start the job I was hoping to try one day! 🙌🏼 Let’s see where this will lead me next 😊 🚀

Spoiler alert: le millésime 2022 risque d'être excellent pour les côtes de Moselle ! Un plaisir d'avoir vendangé cette année encore chez Molozay, le premier vin lorrain à figurer dans l'illustre Guide des meilleurs vins de France ! 🍷 Plus je me rapproche de la vigne, plus je me sens à ma place dans le monde du vin et de l'œnotourisme. Quoi de mieux que de participer à ce qui me tient à cœur : permettre aux vignerons de partager leur histoire et leur passion avec les touristes du monde entier. Oui, ceci est un clin d'œil à Winalist ✔ J'en profite aussi pour saluer Ewa Crétois, une communicante sacrément douée pour rendre tout amateur en (presque) connaisseur - avec une touche d'humour en supplément. Elle envoie du lourd 😊 C'est certain, je ne suis qu'au début d'une belle histoire avec le monde du vin, et j'espère vous avoir donné juste un peu envie d'en savoir plus sur tout ça. 🤓 PS: vivement la prochaine saison des vendanges ! 🍇 #vendanges2022 #oenotourisme

Thinking back on 2024, it was a year of discoveries and challenges. Here’s my (slightly late) yearly wrap-up ! ✨ 🌟 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐬 🍇 This year, I explored more wine regions, from the Moselle hills in Luxembourg, to Champagne caves and Bourgogne’s splendid countryside. In Italy, I wandered through Umbria—my grandmother’s native region—and finally visited the charming village of Torgiano, where the iconic Lungarotti estate stands. 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.   𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 🙏 2024 was marked by inspiring encounters with Wine Lovers, Sommeliers, Winemakers, Scholars, and Institutions. A special highlight was connecting with Yvette Van Der Merwe, President of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine, who shared, with passion, the OIV’s missions and enlightened me on the global wine landscape. Thank you! 😏 𝐍𝐨𝐰, 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬: 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 🧩 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞. To grow in this role, I sought answers in books, and I think that two of them our worth recommending: - 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝐸𝑎𝑡 𝐿𝑎𝑠𝑡 by Simon Sinek: a guide to creating trust-based environments - 𝐸𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑟𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑒̂𝑡𝑟𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑏𝑟𝑒 by Éric Larchevêque: a must-read for aspiring entrepreneurs ! 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 📚 Teaching at the University—especially in Italian— was and is my biggest leap outside my comfort zone. 𝐘𝐞𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐈 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞! Looking back, 2024 was undoubtedly a year of personal and professional growth, with all the challenges that come along.
